NEW YORK, February 21, 2013 New York Knickerbockers Executive Vice President, Basketball Operations and General Manager Glen Grunwald announced today that the team has acquired a 2014 second-round draft choice and cash considerations from the Oklahoma City Thunder in exchange for guard Ronnie Brewer.

Brewer, 6-7, 235-pounds, appeared in 46 games – 34 starts – with New York to average 3.6 points and 2.2 rebounds over 15.5 minutes. The Fayetteville, AK native originally signed with New York on Jul. 25, 2012 and holds career averages of 8.4 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.31 steals over 24.2 minutes in 464 games (301 starts) with Utah, Memphis, Chicago and New York.
