A Lost Season

Florham Park, NJ:  Things are starting to fall apart for the Jets, with the season hanging in the balance. Coming off a bye week, the Jets headed to Seattle, Washington to face the Seahawks.  Rex Ryan spent the entire week building up expectations of a possible win against the 5-and-4 Seahawks.

Seattle out-played the Jets both offensively and defensively.  Marc Sanchez was inconsistent throughout the game.  His QB rating was an abysmal 40.6, putting him at the bottom of the list.  The fans have waited all season long, hoping that this Sunday things would finally change for their beloved Jets.

Unfortunately things stayed the same, as the Seahawks dominated Gang Green.  There is plenty of blame to go around, but in this league it always falls on the Quarterback.  Now the rumor birds are starting to fly around the Jets locker room.

Reports surfaced yesterday of a divided lockeroom.  Players are taking sides on the off-season signing of Tim Tebow. It’s only a matter of time before the season is lost.  At that point, heads will roll.  Will it be Coach Ryan or GM Tannenbuam?

The best that Jets fans can hope for with seven games left in the season is that somehow the team wins five games and finishes the season at 8 and 8.
