Calvin Johnson is his name. Scoring Touchdowns is his game. Johnson has become the best receiver in the NFL posting out of this world numbers since entering the league just a few years ago. The man is a consistent threat in this league and has the body size, speed, and hands to allow him to feast on opponents defenses. In fact he is so unstoppable at times that he has become known as MEGATRON.

The Giants will do their best to stop the robotic receiver this week, but also approach him with the respect he deserves as well.

“I mean, he’s a tremendous athlete, for sure, a great competitor. It’s going to be a great challenge for us as a whole, as a secondary,” said Walter Thurmond when speaking with the media.

“Yes, no question,” Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie responded when he was asked if Calvin Johnson is the best wideout in the game right now.

When he was asked about if he looks forward to playing against him he said, “As a competitor, yes, because you know he is the best, but you have to look at it as just another guy you are going against.”

Rodgers-Cromartie also talked about the experience he brings with him against Johnson heading into this game. He mentioned the leaping ability of Megatron and his abilities to make big plays deep.

“Same thing you see every year from him. A bigger guy with a bigger body, but difference is he has the speed to beat you down the field, and big hands to go up and get the ball. A guy like that, you have to play physical with. You have to get up there and put your hands on him and try to disrupt him as much as you can.”
