Despite being without Napheesa Collier injury, the Lynx, have still been able to keep up their wining ways after back-to-back close victories aided by the strong play of newcomer DiJonai Carrington. DiJonai Carrington helped wreak havoc defensively which resulted in a 14-0 Minnesota run over the last four minutes.
Both New York and Minnesota attempted to set the pace by pushing the ball and finding open gaps in the defense. A majority of their focus seemed to be on getting points on the board rather than stopping their opponents.
The Liberty could find away slowdown the offense of the Lynx. Which lead to disapponting loss the Lynx, 83- 71, in front of a sold out Barclay’s Center.
