NY Knicks: A season of hope is turning into a season of doubt and disappointment. Knick fans are calling for the firing on head coach Mike Woodson. Slow down everyone its game nine of eighty two game seasons no need to panic. There is still time to turn things around and make this season a success.

Frustration is running high at MSG; the Knicks have lost five of six games at home. Knicks owner James Dolan has added more pressure with his comments of winning a championship this season. Dolan recently lost his cool during the Knicks lack luster performance against the Minnesota Timberwolves. He requested that the Knicks City Dancers stop performing and just throw T-Shirts to the Fans.

To add more fuel to the fire, Knicks defensive anchor Tyson Chandler is out for four to six weeks with a broken fibula. Chandler suffered the injury against the Charlotte Bobcats when he collided with Kemble Walker. The loss of Chandler has been devastating to the Knicks team defensive chemistry.

Recently Carmelo Anthony held a closed door meeting after a lost. What was said in the meeting has not been revealed.  The pressure to win in NY is like no other sports market. It’s a win now mentality that only the best players are able to handle. The return of J.R. Smith from a five game suspension has been a disappointmet. He continues to struggle, shooting 31 percent from the feild. Where does Mike Woodson find help?

Let’s revisit this after twenty games, and then we could possibly have a better assessment of the Knicks season.
