Brooklyn, NY– Brooklyn Nets center and 2013-14 NBA All-Rookie First Team selection Mason Plumlee will headline the 2014 Nets summer league team, General Manager Billy King announced today. Joining Plumlee on the squad are current Nets point guards, Marquis Teague and Jorge Gutierrez, as well as 2014 second round draft picks, Markel Brown, Xavier Thames and Cory Jefferson.
Brooklyn’s summer league entry will compete at the Orlando Pro Summer League in Orlando, Florida. Beginning on July 5th, the Nets will play five games over the seven day event at the Amway Center.
