EAST RUTHERFORD — The Giants laughed in the face of NFL history on Sunday, refusing to further cement themselves as a laughingstock by winning for the first time at home this season.
In the process, they coughed up the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft with one week to go and will now spend the foreseeable future facing questions regarding whether their 45-33 victory over the Indianapolis Colts at MetLife Stadium was worth it.

Drew Lock threw four touchdown passes and ran for a fifth, while Malik Nabers went over 100 catches and 1,000 receiving yards for his rookie season as the Giants snapped a franchise-worst 10-game losing streak. Nabers finished with seven catches for 171 yards and two touchdowns. Lock completed 17-of-23 for 309 yards and those four scores. The Colts (7-9) came in still alive in the playoff hunt, but the Giants looked very much like a team still in contention.
