East Rutherford, NJ- Justin Tuck, former Defensive End for the Giants finished playing his last few years of football with the Oakland Raiders. Tuck signed a one-day contract with the Giants and retired with Big Blue on Friday afternoon at the age of 33.

He has been admitted to the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, in hopes of getting his MBA. That also means he will be entering Eagles territory, but Tuck said he’s not worried about them one bit, especially considering he has two answers on his hand. Those Super Bowls rings sure do keep fans quiet…at least Tuck thinks so.

“It’s going to be interesting. [Eagles fans] don’t want to get in that conversation with me for two reasons,” Tuck said,  “I’m just going to use those two as the starting point because there are obviously a lot more [reasons]. I don’t wear them, but it’s something they don’t have.”

tuckJustin will continue his leadership off the field for the Gmen. He even stated at his press conference that he’s challenging many of the Giant’s, from staters all the way to rookies. He started with JPP and Victor Cruz.

“I think Jason Pierre-Paul is going to shock a lot of people this year and that is not because of anything that you have seen, but just in the conversations I have had with him and I am challenging him and he is not the only one,’’ Tuck said. “I am challenging Vic [Cruz], I am challenging these guys that I know have that ability to step up and kind of be the missing piece that maybe the Giants are missing.

Then he dropped some knowledge on the rook Eli Apple.

“I’ll tell you one snippet and I’ll leave it at that. I told him just to focus on football. That is very generic about that conversation, but just to focus on football. Being in New York can be overwhelming, especially for a guy that is named Eli, for one but just to focus on his craft and he will be just fine. This place embraces a winner, so just go out and win.’’

Tuck lastly mentioned that although he is leaving the helmet behind, he is always around if the Giants need help and will keep up his charitable ways throughout the community. Tuck went out with the same class and leadership that he shared with the Giants for years.
