The first order of business for NY Giants was, getting quarterback Daniel Jones some protection on the offensive line. New York got that done with the fourth overall pick, taking Georgia left tackle Andrew Thomas.


As a pass protector, Thomas allowed only five sacks in his collegiate career, and surrendered pressure on just 27 percent of his pass-protection snaps, according to SEC news reports. He will be responsible for opening lanes for Saquan Barkey to help the giants running game be more effective
