A Super Game

NY Giants: Win and you stamp your ticket to the Super Bowl, that all the giants have to do. On rainy Sunday afternoon in San Francisco the Giants face the forty Niners for the chance to play in the atlimate game the Super Bowl. The Giants have won there last four games, heading into tonight’s game.

I’m at athe Harlem Tavern it’s a see of blue as Gaints fans pour in the catch the game. In the first Quarter the Niner would find the endzone, on 72 yard stike from Alex Smith to Vernon Davis Ninners 7-0. But the Giants would answer back on there next posession, Eli Manning finds  Bear Pascoe for 6 yard touchdown.

Eli Manning played great, although the forty niners were able to get to him. Manning was sacked 6 times in game but he never lost his focus. Late in the fourth quarter with the Niners leading 14 to 10 Manning finds Mario Manningham for the go ahead touchdown 17 to 14 with 8:34 left in the fourth quarter.

San Francisco would tie the game forcing overtime, in overtime the Giants got the brake they needed. Forty Niners rookie punt returner fumble the ball. Setting up the Giants for winning field goal by Lawrence Tynes 20 to 17  the final.

The Giants improved to 5-0 in NFC championship games and advanced to Super Bowl XLVI against the New England Patriots in Indianapolis on Feb. 5. It is a rematch of Super Bowl XLII, won by the Giants, 17-14. The Giants also won the NFC title in 1986, 1990, 2000 and 2007.
