George Hill is out with a concussion in game 5 against the Knicks in the Eastern Conference semi-finals! Hill suffered a concussion after a collision with Tyson Chandler in the first quarter of game 4. Hill went on to score 24 in game 4, leading the way for the Pacers in a victory that gave them a 3-1 lead in the series. Hill notified the team doctors of frequent headaches he was experiencing throughout the day and thus was required to undergo a concussion test that he then failed.
The Knicks are now facing an elimination game at home and Hill’s absences could spell one less problem for a defense that has struggle to contain the Pacers. Whether or not they capitalize on a golden opportunity is yet to be determined!
