Knicks Injury Report

ByVernon McKenzie

Sep 7, 2012

NY Knicks: The NY Knicks have reported that recently-acquired shooting guard Ronnie Brewer had arthroscopic surgery on his left knee.  Brewer suffered the injury over the past two weeks; he’s expected to be out approximately six weeks.  Knicks training is expected to start October 2, 2012 at their training facility in Greenburg, NY.

Brewer was acquired to fill in for injured shooting guard Imam Shumpert, who suffered a serious knee injury last season during the Knicks first-round playoff run against the Miami Heat.  Brewer is a formal backup who has the potential  to be a great addition to the Knicks roster.  We will have to wait and see who the Knicks will add to fill his spot until he’s able to return to the court.
