November 15, 2015, Queens, NY  Kevin Seraphin had his best game as a New York Knick which had to be in part because of the tragic events that occurred last Friday that cost 129 people their lives and many more others to be injured, some critically. Seraphin received the game ball for scoring 12 points in just 14 minutes of play. Compare that with Knicks center Robin Lopez who scored zero points in his 14 minutes on the floor.

But Seraphin had additional motivation as helped lead the Knicks to a 95-87 win over the 1-9 New Orleans Pelicans. Seraphin had the word “PARIS” inscribed in the back of his head (with the help of some fancy barbering). Anthony Davis played at his Anthony Davis-esque level leading all scorers with 36 points to go with 11 rebounds and 4 blocked shots.

The Knicks, who are now 5-6, were led in scoring by Carmelo Anthony who pulled down 13 rebounds to go with his 29 points. Langston Galloway scored 15 points off the bench, and rookie sensation and fan favorite Kristaps Porzingis had a quiet 10 points.

After one quarter, the Knicks found themselves down by 4 points, to a team that was winless on the road, 27-23. The second quarter proved to be more tit for tat with the Knicks outscoring the Pelicans 19-17 in the quarter to pull within 2 points by halftime, 44-42. The Knicks outscored the Pelicans in the third and fourth quarters by 5 points in each quarter to secure the victory.

Up next for the Knicks is the Charlotte Hornets on Tuesday, November 17th. The game begins at 7:30 (EST) at the most famous arena in the world, Madison Square Garden. Tickets are still available, and the game will be televised on the MSG Network. Check your local listings.
