November 3, 2015, Queens, NY  Week 8 saw Boston’s Own, John Payant (J-Pay) get bested by his chief nemesis, hip-hop icon Kool Moe Dee. Moe Dee reclaimed the top spot after finishing second to John Payant for four consecutive weeks. J-Pay posted a 10-4 mark which put him one game behind Kool Moe Dee who was a blazing 11-3. The 10-4 mark was also reached by Amsterdam News columnist and sports reporter Vincent Davis who debuted this week.

Joining Vincent Davis this week was PureSportsNY Editor-In-Chief Jerald Levon Hoover who has been a sports journalist for over 15 years.  Hoover came in at a respectable 9-5. He was followed by Fox Sports journalist Mike Hill who posted an 8-6 record. PureSportsNY reporter Mike Dennis (a.k.a. Bronx Born) went 7-7.

Our six NFL experts will go at it again for Week 9. They pick with their heads, not their hearts. All of them are highly motivated and have something to prove. Kool Moe Dee has three wins under his belt and J-Pay has four. Moe Dee wants to tie and eventually surpass J-Pay, and J-Pay wants to remain in the top spot.

Vincent Davis is a mixture of “smarts” and “confidence” who feel strongly that he should have won his first week on the job. He was just one game behind Moe Dee, posting an excellent record, 10-4. Jerald Hoover is a sports aficionado and has been in the game a long time. He feels his experience should count for something.

Mike Hill is the professional who was at the World Wide Leader (ESPN) for a decade. He doesn’t take the matter of not winning very lightly. Bronx Born hates being last. He vowed that it would not happen again.

Stay tuned to the picks that will be released on Thursday evening before the NFL game.
