Although the Knicks were stellar on the defensive side of the ball. The leadership at the point guard position with Derek Rose being out due to contact tracing and Elfrid Payton with a sore hamstring was evident. Surprisingly the the Knicks were still in the game down the stretch. Frank Nilkina was stellar on the defensive end. Unfortunately the Knicks came up short, Julius Randle was called for traveling on the last play of the game. Randle lead the team in scoring with 33 points and 12 rebounds.
