Led by Carmelo Anthony’s 31 points, the New York Knicks(4-0) remain the only undefeated team in the NBA. Throughout the game, an offensive match between Mav’s OJ Mayo and Melo brewed but the Knicks’ supporting cast provided the neccessary spark.  With Melo’s scoring in the 4th quarter keeping Dallas from making a run, the Knicks remain solid.

J.R. Smith came off the bench and exploded with a early season high 22 points on 8-16 shooting to go along with his defensive play which gave him a game high 4 steals.

Veteran Rasheed Wallace received a boost in playing time and added 6 points and 6 rebounds. Other stats from the Knicks in their win: Chandler (11 pts, 9 rebounds), Ronnie Brewer (13 pts, 8 rebs), Felton (8 pts, 9 assists), and Kidd (6 pts, 3 asissts).  The Knicks upcoming opponents this week are: @ Orlando(Nov. 13th), @ San Antonio(Nov. 15th), and @ Memphis (Nov. 16th).
